About the Role
We’re looking for a Credit Claims Administrator to join our NZ Bedding team at The Comfort Group. You’ll manage customer credit claims, primarily relating to pricing, freight, GST and other non-related product claims. You’ll work with customers and internal teams to establish the facts, resolve claims and ensure credits/debits are processed accurately. No technical bedding knowledge is required, it’s all about your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, investigate and manage customer credit claims
- Establish the reason for each claim and gather the relevant information
- Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve claims
- Communicate with customers regarding claim outcomes, including approvals and rejections
- Maintain accurate claim records, notes and spreadsheets
- Process credits, debits and manual invoices as required
- Update claims in our ERP systems
- Follow established processes and meet required timeframes
- Assist with other administrative duties as required
About you
You’re curious, organised and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and manage changing workloads.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in insurance, administration, customer service, accounts, credit claims or a similar role is desirable
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with spreadsheets and business systems
- A willingness to learn and ask questions
- Experience with JBA, Syteline, SAP and Microsoft Office is advantageous
- Experience in insurance, manufacturing, logistics or distribution will be highly regarded
