About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join us for a 12-month fixed-term contract.  This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead and develop a team of 3, while working across business and technology to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team, contributing to BA Chapter standards and continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, simplify complex information and define clear outcomes.
• Analyse and improve business processes, systems, data, integrations, risks and impacts.
• Work with Product Owners and squads to maintain a clear, prioritised and delivery-ready backlog.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, workshops, solution design and Sprint Reviews.
• Support test planning, functional testing, defect management, UAT and automated testing.
• Drive business readiness through early engagement, training, change support and train-the-trainer approaches.
• Use SQL, analytics, automation and AI-assisted tools to improve analysis and business outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across Architecture, technology and business teams.

 About you

We’re looking for someone excited by AI, curious about what’s possible and passionate about using AI, automation and emerging technology to solve problems and work smarter. 

As well as

• 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience across technology, systems, software, integration or data environments
• Strong technical BA capability across systems, processes, data, APIs, integrations and enterprise platforms, including SAP/S4HANA
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience across requirements, testing, UAT and business change
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and leadership/coaching skills
• Experience with SQL, Azure DevOps, GitHub, BI, data modelling and data quality
• Understanding of integration, ETL/ELT, middleware and APIs, including batch, file-based and event-driven environments
• Experience applying AI, automation and intelligent workflows to improve business outcomes
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, finance or operations
• A relevant qualification in IT, software, business analysis, business or a related discipline
• A curious, practical and structured approach to continuous improvement and emerging technology
