About the role
We’re looking for a Quality & Safety Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Quality Management System (QMS) across Australia and New Zealand, as well as Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) at our Australian sites.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with our Group Safety Manager and site leaders to drive compliance, strengthen systems, and support a proactive safety and quality culture across the business.
If you enjoy balancing technical expertise with stakeholder engagement—and want to make a real difference in how systems perform on the ground—this role offers plenty of scope.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and maintaining our ISO 13485-certified Quality Management System
- Coordinating internal audits, site assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing document control processes across quality and safety systems
- Overseeing occupational hygiene programs (e.g. noise, chemical exposure, isocyanates)
- Coordinating health surveillance programs (e.g. audiometry, medicals)
- Supporting incident investigations and tracking corrective actions
- Partnering with site leaders to strengthen risk management practices
- Providing practical, timely advice on quality, safety, health and environmental matters
- Lead and mentor one direct report, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
About you
You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and confident, working across multiple priorities. You bring a strong understanding of quality and safety systems, along with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll also have:
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485, highly regarded)
- Strong document control and audit experience
- Knowledge of WHS and environmental requirements
- The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive improvements
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- Leadership experience
