The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor, your role will be working as part of the dispatch team to ensure orders are securely packed and labelled correctly for pick up:
Your responsibilities may include, based on your experience:
- Operate the bag sealing machine to package mattresses safely and accurately
- Feed plastic sheeting into the machine and ensure smooth operation throughout production
- Monitor quality of seals and final presentation of products
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or alignment issues to maintain production flow
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols
About you
The successful applicants will be hard-working team players and will be able to commit to permanent employment. In addition to this, you will be:
- Possess a Mechanical aptitude, able to identify and solve basic mechanical issues
- Strong attention to detail and committed to producing high-quality finished products
- A safety-first mindset. Understand and respect machine safety and site procedures
- Physically fit, able to lift and feed plastic rolls into machines
- A team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
