Dispatch Supervisor

General Duties
•    Organise delivery trucks and truck loads to maximise capacities with effective loading times to meet customer expectations.
•    Maintain effective communication lines with the Ops Manager and DIFOT and improvement opportunities. 
•    Hands on approach for loading delivery trucks. 
•    Actively involved with workplace inspections, risk assessments, competitive edge and housekeeping. 
•    Ensue quality and environmental system requirements are adhered to. 
•    Follow and enforce site instructions and standard work practices including the correct use of forklifts.

SleepMaker
•    Manage dispatch personnel and repair work.
•    Responsible for pick list generation.
•    Coordinate daily retail customer delivery bookings.
•    Coordinate unloading of trucks into the warehouse.
•    Coordinate late order management from other deports including Deer Park.
•    Communicate with Account Managers re any supply short falls.
•    Coordinate with Account Managers regarding trade sows or mall sales.
•    Manage Customer Returns and bed replacements.
•    Ensure stock is correctly labelled and recorded in Syteline.
•    Ensure warehouse housekeeping is maintained and product is secure.
•    Cage inspections and liaise with Operations Manager for maintenance.
•    Rotation of stock.
•    Fax POD’s to customer service.
•    Print pick slips.    

People Management & Leadership
•    Contribute to effective team decisions and the development of both site and total Company performance.
•    Hold regular communication meetings with the team to communicate and deliver on day to day and longer term plans.
•    Ensure good clear communication within the warehouse, other departments and all customers.
•    Maintain effective communication lines with the site leaders, including but not restricted to issues concerning OHS / E / Q, CE, staff relations, conduct, DIFOT issues and improvement opportunities.

•    Lead by example with own leadership behaviours being consistent with the values, vision, goals, and priorities of TCG.

•    PD’s are current and team members have clarity of accountabilities, responsibilities, and deliverables.

•    Team members engaged and committed to achieving goals. Good alignment and engagement scores achieved.
•    Identify employee training and development needs to enhance their productivity, effectiveness and job satisfaction. 
•    Performance management of team members in line with Company policies and procedures.
•    Manage absenteeism to ensure compliance with Company procedures.
•    Responsible for site manpower.

Safety & Quality
OHS accountabilities and responsibilities include but not limited to:
•    Safety and Quality Management System accountabilities and responsibilities relevant to the position as outlined in the Safety &/or QMS system guidelines and procedures.
•    Act responsibly for the safety of self and others, including the reporting of all hazards, incidents and near misses, wearing of any designated PPE, ensuring that tools/equipment are in a safe condition before use and your immediate work area safe with no trip, slip or fall hazards unresolved. 
•    To work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace.
•    Follow reasonable instructions and comply with the relevant safe work procedures. 
•    Participate in OHS improvement activities. 
•    Understand your site evacuation plan in preparation of an emergency.
•    Escalate unresolved issues to a SNR Manager, P&C Team and/or via the Whistle Blower process. 

Conduct
Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of personal conduct to ensure compliance with all legislative and/or Company policy obligations including but not limited to: 
•    Accurate recording of attendance, notification of absence and leave. 
•    Ensure your conduct reflects the Company commitment to a workplace that is inclusive and free from any form of harassment or discrimination.
•    Ensure your fitness for duty, and the safety, health and welfare of yourself and others in the workplace, whether co-workers or visitors.
•    Ensure your personal conduct does not damage or harm the integrity or reputation of the Company, its employees, or clients. 
•    Follow the dispute resolution reporting process for the reporting of personal grievances and related issues.
